I was nanny to a 4 year old in New Zealand in 2003-4. I was 54 at the time. The little girl loved Blues Clues and so did I. I didn’t grow up with Mr. Rogers so this was fun for me. I love hearing men talk about the heart and life and soul. More, more, more.❤️

This was a terrific podcast. Steve and Rainn clearly have a connection. I'm a graduate of the old "est" training, and Werner Erhard told us that "you get whatever you resist." It's clear that Rainn still has issues with playing Dwight Schrute, and feeling type cast. Rainn, think about Peter Falk and "Columbo," Mariska Hargitay and Olivia Benson on "Law and Order." I hope that you can come to terms with Dwight, clearly a brilliant portrayal. Maybe you can finally embrace him as a job very well done, and move on. Of the hundreds of thousands of people who view your podcasts, trust me: none of us cares what Dwight Schrute cares or thinks about "soul." That's YOU we're listening to, and your excellent selection of guests.

I loved this. What an amazing man! Steve modeled friendship in a way that gave many children, including my own, a safe space where they felt seen and loved. Many, many thanks!

Best episode of Soul Boom yet. When Steve looks and the camera and says “I want to talk to my friend”….. my soul boomed

Thank you, Rainn, for this magnificent story. I “grew up” watching Mister Rogers reruns and Blue’s Clues with my then-toddler. I turn to Steve’s posts now when I need quiet comfort in these times, so this story — and the soul-filled space you’ve created here — means everything. 💕 Blessings!

I do appreciate you mentioning Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar. I have personally known Patricia Bragg for over 50 years. Her and Paul Bragg were the fist to open health food stores in America. She sold her business to Katy Perry and her husband Bloom. This may be a conspiracy theory - BUT please do your homework. I have been told that the product has changed drastically and not for the better. Apparently Bill Gates is involved and he is working with them. They are using APPEAL Apples (google) "Ingestion May cause discomfort if swallowed. Skin contact Prolonged skin contact may cause redness and irritation. Eye contact Severe irritation, burning and tearing." . . . "also Apeel Sciences is funded by a diverse group of investors, including venture capitalists, private equity firms, and philanthropic organizations. Key investors include Temasek, Andreessen Horowitz, Viking Global Investors, GIC, Mirae Asset Global Investments, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Additionally, individual investors like Oprah Winfrey and Katy Perry have also invested in Apeel." Google says it is harmless - but I would thoroughly check this out to get to the truth of the matter. Simple organic apples make apple cider - this huge investment by all these venture capitalists gives me the willies. Please do a deep dive.

Hi M!

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and your connection to Patricia Bragg—that’s a remarkable legacy to be part of. It’s true that Bragg Live Food Products was acquired in 2019 by an investor group that includes Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom.

Regarding concerns about Apeel-coated apples and Bill Gates’ involvement: Bragg has publicly stated that they do not use apples treated with Apeel’s edible coating in their apple cider vinegar. Additionally, there’s no evidence linking Bill Gates to Bragg Live Food Products. Bragg maintains that their decades-old apple cider vinegar recipe remains unchanged. Of course a lot of stuff floats around social media and the internet. In any case you can read more here: reuters.com/fact-check/bragg-does-not-use-apples-with-apeels-edible-food-coating-company-says-2023-12-25/
